I know to be leary when they don't give you an intermission. Boom might seem deep to a twenty year old in the audience, who has not had much exposure to cathartic theater experiences. But for the older audience, which is most of New Rep's clientele, this was a not too meaningful exploration of evolution vs fundamentalism theory. If not for Karen Mac Donald, I might have been rude enough to walk out, in spite of no intermission.

"Great Expectations" -- Talented young people...imaginative staging. However, their attempts at British accents made them nearly unintelligible in many places. In fact, much of the dialog was delivered too rapidly to be clearly understood. There was some overplaying as well. I went to see the production of Camelot Sunday Nov.24th. It was truly magnificent. Camelot has always been one of my favorite Plays and Movie. This production was as good as the production I saw many years ago starring Richard Harris. The cast is truly talented. I wish I had the time to go see it again.
