Went to Lowe's and got what I wanted.

Worst Home Depot I have ever been too.

On the day the return and new delivery was supposed to happen, we received a call saying a truck had come by to pick up the old unit and couldn't find our address. The truck had already left (why hadn't they called us before leaving?), and the customer service rep could not find any record that a new unit was also supposed to be delivered. She said she would call us back, but several hours have passed with no call. We've talked with multiple reps through the online chat and they've been on hold for over an hour trying to contact the local store for us. 3+ days later, we still have not been able to get the process for returning this bad stove started!

We had similar struggles returning a new dishwasher that leaked a few months back. The people at the local store just don't answer the phone, and aren't consistently helpful when they do.

Had great help from Gerard at customer service. For an enormous corporate entity, it was nice to have a friendly and helpful employee. His top priority was to make sure i was getting what i needed!!

We have spoken with some helpful reps online and on the 1 800 number, but there is only so much they can do.

We had a new range delivered, and it leaked heat like crazy and was too hot on the outside with the oven on. We called to arrange a return a few hours after it was first delivered (we arranged for the installation separately with a friend). After being on hold for over an hour(!), we were finally able to speak with someone who said they would send a replacement unit. We scheduled delivery of a replacement range AND pickup of the original range during the same time window a few days later. In between we received two confirmation calls, presumably one for the pickup and one for the delivery of the new unit.

The sales associates are helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone is very friendly. I went in looking for split key rings today but they did not have any. I don't think that is worth singing a star off though. If anybody is unsure whether they might have something, look on their website or call ahead, they will be able to tell you so you don't have to make the trip only to find they don't have it.

If you are purchasing an appliance, be prepared to lose a few days worth of time to waiting on hold, miscommunication, etc. if you need to return it.

I needed a water heater. I am a plumber. Only one 50 gallon 9 year warranty in stock. The carton torn all over. Many others all torn also.

Moral of the story: we are now just trying to return the range and get a refund, and will be purchasing a new one from elsewhere.
